Okay guys, due to overwhelming harassment (not that I am an I'll do it if you do person) I have decided to start my myspace page. ONE DISCLAIMER. No spell check = me spell bad!!! So get over it.
Born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, I had a fairly typical upbringing filled with hunting, fishing, hiking and the knowledge of how to survive if lost in the woods. I began to play the saxophone at the age of ten, inspired by the musical styling of Lisa Simpson. In 1999, I packed up my little Alaskan car and made the forty-seven hour drive south to the University of Oregon, where I majored in classical saxophone performance and dabbled in jazz. Because of my former work as a movie theater projectionist throughout high school,and no further technical experience or aspirations, I took the student job as assistant to audio engineer Lance Miller. Within a very short time, however, I realized I that had a real passion and talent for engineering. A short course at the Aspen Music Festival and School in Recording Engineering would deepen my knowledge and fuel my drive. After finishings my Bachelor's degree, I left the States to attend the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, The Netherlands earning a degree in music engineering in the spring of 2007. I currently reside, work, and freelance as a performer and engineer in and around The Netherlands
By the way, Amsterdam is a city in The Netherlands, not the country.... and I live in Den Haag, not Amsterdam :-)
My other interests include: Acoustics, 19th century Russian novels, GREAT food - and for the matter wine (Dilly Bar, I miss our wine hours!!), anything dealing with the outdoors and especially 4am wake-up calls to go fishing!! (Fun after a late night in the bars, ie drop the sax grab the rod).

About the name..... My name is Kendra, yes... but I've been called many things..... by my mother "Kendra Sue" but other people things less nice ;) ummm in College Owen (ahem) misspelled my name TWICE and that led to Kendar which eventually led to DAR and hence then name for my company. THANKS OWEN!
