About Me

I'm talisha, 19 yr old uni student, studying Arts/Music at Melbourne Uni. Arts degrees are pretty sucky, but the music is awesome!
I like to read and relax, love listening to music, like playing even more. I love my clari, his name is Squeak. I also love to drive my car, and even though it's not brand new and as shiny as some, I still think it's the best!
I love Christmas, Disney movies, laughing about anything and everything, smiling, pulling faces, taking stupid pictures, playing minesweeper and knowing that i suck, playing in general!
I will always be a band nerd.
I am a PROUD Collingwood Supporter! And YES, I have all of my teeth! And no, I don't scream out horrible vulgar things when I'm at the footy, or throw cans of beer, but that one is just a general rule...

Music:

I love all types! Umm I don't 'appreciate' probably country western an heavy metal as much as the rest... but it's all good! Classical music is really my style, and I really love old school swing/jazz music.
Big fan of Frank Sinatra, Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker, Charlie Parker, bit of Charles Mingus and the rest of the crew.
My favourite composer is Felix Mendelssohn, I love Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Weber, Vivaldi, Saint-SaÃ«ns...
The Cat Empire is most certainly my favourite band, Jackson Jackson are also great! Melbourne band, Melodics are awesome (check them out!). I love John Mayer, Michael Buble, Missy Higgins, Thirsty Merc and lots more!

Embarrassingly I am a huge fantasy fan. Love my juvenile fiction, Tamora Pierce (I don't care how poorly it's written!), Isobelle Carmody, my gosh I LOVE Harry Potter. I also like to read other books and non-fiction, but they will never be quite as good as books like Eragon, Obernewtyn or Harry.
