About Me

It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow. - Robert H. Goddard (1882 - 1945)

My Interests

Looking for ways to touch peoples lives in a more positive manner. Being a good father and just enjoying life.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet the person that designs noodles for canned pasta. You know the kind with cool shapes. That has to be a fun job.

Music:

My favorite band of all time would probably be TOOL. There is just something about their ability to change a song from one thing to a completely different thing 3 or 4 times in the same song. A few other bands I like are Veda (Vedera) , Nickelback (more before they become as huge as they are now), Zero 7, Evans Blue, Audioslave, Ashanti, Snow Patrol, so many others that I probably could go on and on about. Really I like just about any kind of music except for the ultra twangy country and bubblegum oldies.

Movies:

Really I like just about every type of movie. From the super lame to the super scary. For me it is more about the company you are watching the movie with than the movie itself. A few that I like though are : Gattaca, Far and Away, both Kill Bill, Sin City, Big Trouble Little China, again I am not to picky when it comes to movies. If it entertains me then it can't be all that bad!

Television:

I actually don't watch a lot of TV. Usually when I do it is either American Idol or Grey's Anatomy. I enjoy watching cooking shows or the History channel. Sometimes I try to catch movies on Sci-Fi about the weird giant animals like a giant killer turtle or mutant hamster because it amazes me that somewhere a board of investors okay these kind of movies. Gives hope to the average person that is wanting to make a movie that somewhere out there, someone will buy it and make it.

Books:

The last one I read was probably The Da Vinci code (like almost everyone else.)I liked I AM Legend quite a bit (very ahead of it's time in content and writing I think)A Purpose Driven Life was pretty good. Band of Brothers, The Thin Red Line, any early centuryJapanese poetry (don't laugh!) and magazines about whatever. I admit to enjoy reading aboutcelebrities and their secret yet very public lives.

Heroes:

My hero's would probably be my parents. My Dad is a generous caring man that has touched so many other peoples lives with his kind heart. My mother is one of the most selfless people I have ever met. My friend Shelley because she always seems to have the strange ability to do what isn't always easy, but always right. MyGen Profile Generator
