I have so many interests, and yet am always open to new experiences. My guidelines are those taught by my parents (you know, the ones you later realize were very sane and correct): Don't do anything to yourself that will destroy body or brain cells. Do unto others as you would expect them to do unto you...and accept the consequences when you mess up this rule No means No. Yes means Yes. Be responsible for yourself, in every way. Accept what you cannot change, cut your losses and move on. You must find happiness inside yourself first....all other efforts are just cover-ups for a dull life. All kinds of music are great in my life....easier to list those that I am not that fond of listening to in the car: Rap, Gospel, Country, Jazz, Pan Flute; those I like to dance to: Country, Disco, 80's, Rock and Roll, Power Pop; those I like to listen to in the club: pretty much all types are worth checking out...they're personal artistic expressions..... A few of my favorite bands are The Gin Blossoms and Marshall Crenshaw. Really like some of the local artists we've played with like PinkSlip (with Heatherton), Twin Sticks, The Power Chords and alot more! I have very diverse musical taste....some new, some old
Saw alot of movies during the last 6 months....most were pretty terrific! LOVED MatchPoint, Narnia, Geisha, Syrania, Goodnight and Good Luck!, Walk the Line and so many more.
Not alot of time....so put me down for The Daily Show, The Showbiz Show and The Colbert Report....oh, and any really funny comedians!Not much time for reality programming....not even sure if those are "real"
No time to really read either...I stick to my Entertainment Weekly, The LA Weekly, Music Connection (and other music mags) and various other publications
