About Me

Latest News: Even though we hate American Beer, Outlaw Cowboys made an appearance at the Montgomery Gentry Concert on Sept. 12th at Puyallup Fair! The concert was alright, Puyallup totally sucked! Get this it took 76 minutes for a cab to come get us from out hotel, and from Fife to Puyallup it took him 30 minutes to drive to the Fair Grounds. We were treated like we were born Yesterday!!! Matt and I happened to meet some nice people along the way, who took us to a bar called Nifties in the middle of nowhere. 2 hardcore rednecks walked in, one guy started to pick a fight with me over nothing, so we requested to the people that we met to leave, and we did. When Matt and I got back to the hotel, I taught him how to projectile vomit, and that was basically our experience in Puyallup/Fife! Were all hung over the next morning and the 4 hour drive home sucked!!!
Outlaw Cowboys will be making at The Dixie Chicks on November 8th in Vancouver!

New for 2006, and by popular demand - The Outlaw Cowgirls Line!

These are some pics from The Cadillac Ranch Thursday April 13th
Thats Devin, Paul Brandt, and Mike backstage!
Outlaw Cowboys was officially created in January of 2003 when Mike O. and myself (Fouad S.) were deciding what kind of Western Wear Clothing would be best marketable at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival. When my friend Kerri F. got involved, the 3 of us brainstormed, and finally came out with the final product Outlaw Cowboys, and thanks to Kerri, "Ride it Like you Own it!" A little later down the line, I came up with, "If you can rope it, you can ride it!" It took about 5 months to get everything trademarked, and registered, and now that we own the slogan, the printing has started. So if you plan on stealing the logo or any pictures, and want to place them on your own website, please ask me. In some cases i will let you. All persons on this website are aware that pictures were taken for promotional use, and allowed Outlaw Cowboys to use the pictures on their websites.
In May of 2006, the ownership of Outlaw Cowboys changed hands and now Matt D. and myself share the same interests in expansion of Outlaw Cowboys. With Outlaw Cowgirls making a strong break through this year, 2006 should be a great year for us!
Outlaw Cowboys gear can now be purchased on either of the websites, at Country Festivals and Rodeos across North America. If you are interested in anything specific, just ask me?

One of the most memorable days of my life!

At 1300 hrs on the 14th Day of June 2002, one of the coolest days of my life started. I knew all along that I would be doing Security for Tim McGraws dressing room, but I had no idea any of the following would take place. I arrived and the production people asked me to go wherever Tim goes. Okay thats what I am used to forDONOTBLOCKOURADS bodyguarding, but this was a Security Patrol job for a buddies company, nothing special. Tim played basketball with his crew and band for over an hour in the loading dock of GM Place. Fans cheered and the drop dead gorgeous Faith Hill cheered. I was in awe with my position. When he finished playing Basketball, his personal security (Bart B.) asked me to stay at his dressing room. Faith came over and started chatting with me, she had the 3 children, Gracie, Maggie and Audrey with her. Audrey being only just over 6 months old this concert was the first ever for her to witness her superstar father perform. We spoke about little things, down to earth things, and how excited she was for Audrey to get to watch her Dad perform in sold out Vancouver. Soon after I was moved to stage front Security, where I usually am for all concerts and then there was a quick broadcast over the radio that my immediate help was requested in the backstage area. I went to the area and Tim and Faith had requested that I accompany Faith and the kids to their suite where they would be watching the concert from. By far, I enjoyed this concert more than any other concert I would ever enjoy. Even more than the 46 days I spent with Janet Jackson (Sorry Janet!) Tim and Faith are the Gods of Country Music in my eyes, and to spend this day and night with them, I will never forget this memory. At the end of the night Tim even signed my cowboy hat, unfortunately Faith was dealing with a cranky Audrey, so I missed her, but I feel that one day soon, I will run into them again. I was thanked by Bart B. their personal Security for the most professional of jobs, and he even offered me a position at the CMT Awards the following November 5th, which unfortunately I was not able to attend. The following picture is of my new hat on the left and my old retired hat that Tim autographed on the bottom left corner of the hat on the right, just below the RED of RedNexx. Its starting to fade a bit, and thats why the hat is now officially retired.
