Pipeline

Not a real band, but an incredible simulation.

About Me

Just a couple of guys that wanted to be in a band.
Jon (Burton) and AJ have known each other and been best friends since first grade, and met Matt during second. The three became good friends during elementary school, until AJ moved to Germany during fifth grade.
During junior high Jon and Matt were introduced to Ohman, and they became good friends. AJ moved back to Bremerton in ninth grade, and the friends were united! Yay!
It was around this time that Jon and AJ began plans for a rap group known as The Octagons, while out camping. Soon, though, four the original six band members faded away and four more were added, including Matt and Ohman. The idea never got off the ground, despite all the hard work put into the group. The band changed its name to Pipeline, in reference to the Mario games that all members grew up with.
Pipeline faded out of existance as a rap group. But when the desire to start a rock band arose, the name was picked back up and the members sat back on their lazy asses and did not in fact work for about a year.
But in early 2006, interest was piqued at starting over. Thus began the current progress of Pipeline, destined to become number one on the music scene.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Jon Burton - Vocals, keyboard
Matt Rabon - Guitar
AJ Titus - Bass
Jon Ohman - Drums
Influences: AJ's prime influences began with Linkin Park, POD, and Hoobastank. As his musical tastes grew, so did his interest in nu metal and the various bands under it's genre. His favorite bands and heaviest influences to this day are: Linkin Park, Disturbed, Chevelle, Papa Roach, and Slipknot.

Having emerged from a musical hibernation of listening only to country music until around age 13, Burton used Linkin Park as his springboard into rock music. Linkin Park remains his largest influence, both in his raps and singing, but he has also drawn from such artists as Trapt, Third Eye Blind, Saliva, Papa Roach, Chevelle, Fuel, Yellowcard, Hoobastank, and Relient K.

At an early childhood, influenced mainly by his older brother, Matt listened only to pop, rap, and hiphop (with a heavy influence of Bone Thugs n Harmony). Upon reaching junior high, Linkin Park dominated the scene, as he became enamored with rap metal. Throughout the years, Matt has grown a taste for rock/punk/emo ect...His main influence consist of: Linkin Park, Yellowcard, Story of the Year, CCR, Creed, Dire Straits, Red Hot Chilie Peppers, John Mayer, ect...
