Rebel

Rebel is a band based in Miami, Florida. The band took their name from what described their personalities and taste in music from the late 90's local scene. This was in La Vega where the idea of the band was originally conceived developing as a whole 2 years later in Miami. They were simply being different, and still stand under that idea til' today.The band's line-up is Migue (vocals, guitar, keyboard), Carlos Jorge (bass), and A.J. (drums, percussion). They've found it tough to define the nature of their style. Some describe them as alternative, electro/rock, arena rock, space rock, pop, new wave and few other names. These all match what they do.In September 2007 they released their EP record "Televisible". Recorded at their self owned Powerplant Studio by then guitarist, Javier Morales. CoolJunkie.com writes "Miami native quartet Rebel has no shortage of chemistry and talent. On their Televisible EP, Javier Morales’ driving guitar riffs soar with Migue Fernandez’s vocals. A perfect blend is created giving off the sense that Migue knows to ease down when it’s time for Javiers' riveting guitar solos to end a song with force." The first single "Rise" was released in November 10th, 2007 and it has turned into one of the crowds favorite during live shows. The second single "Bullet" was released in May 24th.The band is currently on the road and working on some new tracks.
