Coming from a religiously musical family, one could argue that Taras had no choice but to accept his fate and plunge head first into music. At the age of 12 his love for composition/production became apparent when his father purchased the family's first synthesizer, a KORG X3, which became the foundation of the young man's future accomplishments. In 2002 Taras produced a demo which he submitted to Hi-Bias Records ; the demo eventually made its way to the desk of the label's CEO, Nick Fiorucci, a world renowned DJ and producer, who saw the tremendous potential in the 20-year old producer and signed him.
During his 5-year affiliation with Hi-Bias Records (2003-2008), Taras received remixing credits for several superstar artists such as Britney Spears (singles “Everytime†and “Somedayâ€), Michelle Branch (single “Breatheâ€), and Kimberley Locke (“8th World Wonderâ€). Taras was also involved in many other projects including Fierce & Coppola, Aluna, Wilde, and is credited with co-production on Hi-Bias's own Sherrie Lea’s album "Spellbound" , and most recently Nick Fiorucci's album "11:11" . Most notably he co-wrote “Every Time You Move†- the first single from 11:11 that was nominated for a Juno award in 2008.
Despite Taras’s impressive production/remixing history, his greatest accomplishment as artist and producer however, was the release of his debut album "Liftoff" in 2006, which earned him a Juno nomination in 2007. The singles from Liftoff, namely “I Will Love Again†and “Stop Wasting My Time†topped the world dance charts and continue to be heard regularly on the radio and in clubs throughout the world.
