My friends are really my biggest interests, I love hanging out with them and being with them, there is a sort of hierarchy...just kidding. I love reading classic books, or books that make me think about the world. It sounds lame but I collect old books...I have several that are from the 1800's and many from the begining of the 20th century. I love movies...watching them, writing them and talking about them. Epics and tragedies...I love a good film where either the main character dies or the great love in the story doesn't work. I love going out with my friends to the bars and the drinking festivals, concerts and parties. I miss seeing my friends that have moved to the damn East Coast, Sam I am looking in your direction for this is only you now. I will be leaving Madison very shortly now for Milwaukee where I have already met some great new friends and have really gotten a chance to hang out with old ones more. Madison I will miss you but I promise to visit a lot. So don't worry, I will be around. One of my interests that is always there but isn't always number one is politics. I love election years and going to political events and mostly talking with my friend's Sam, Jordan the rest of you, about politics. So it is important to vote.
Unfortunetly most of the people I would like to meet are dead. I always wanted to meet Stanley Kubrick, I love his films and he really inspired me to to write deep scripts. I would like to have met Ayn Rand, "Atlas Shrugged" is my favorite book, not that I agree with Objectivism but I love her characters and her ability to tell a great story. I think that I would like to Stephen King (who of course is alive) because I have always enjoyed his writing and he combines fasinating stories with characters that seem to come alive. Alfred Hitchcock, Jim Henson, Peter Benchley, David Lean...and maybe Jenna Jameson...just to talk...you know. But seriously I would love to meet director Eli Roth as well...I fucking love horror films and this guy is great with over-the-top gory horror films. The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Second Level of Hell!

Take the Dante Inferno Hell Test
I love great music that can make you feel. Fun music at a bar to dance to with your friends...depressing music that makes you feel even worse than you so (and that is exactly what you want.) I really love 80's music and classic rock(The Doors, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and such.) I really like U2, The Bloodhound Gang and who the fuck doesn't love going to a Pat McCurdy show(Sam and Hayley and I looking in your direction.) A great musical like RENT or Les Mis. I like music that makes me think and feel...good music is like a progression of moods and feelings...what it means can change by the person listening to it...oh yeah and I FUCKING LOVE the Beastie Boys, The Violent Femmes, WEEZER, Dave Matthews and The Beatles.
Your Theme Song is Beautiful Day by U2
"Sky falls, you feel like
It's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away"
You see the beauty in life, especially in ordinary everyday moments.
And if you're feeling down, even that seems a little beautiful too.
What's Your Theme Song?
I love epic films like "Bridge Over the River Kwai," "2001 A Space Odessy," and "The English Paitent" (epic love.) I also love Horror films like, "Halloween," "Hellraiser," "The Exorsist," "The Last House on the Left," and in general films like, "Raiders of the Lost Ark,"The Big Lebowski," "Jaws," "Fight Club," "Legends of the Fall," "Traffic,""Breakfast at Tiffany's," and "Donnie Darko (Which I highly recommend watching with some close friends drunk, inspires some really great conversation.) I love a great comedy too, movies that are just fun...not just fun to watch but you have fun too. Movies like "Go," "Blazing Saddles," "Young Frankenstein," "Swingers," and "Napolean Dynamite," and there is "The Boondock Saints." (Which until you have seen you are not allowed to comment on.) I also absolutely love the gory, campy, horror films like, "The Evil Dead Series," and all of Romero's "Living Dead Series," "Sleepaway Camp," The Texas Chainsaw Massacre I and II," "Freaks," the campyier, the gorrier the better. I love any film by Eli Roth..."Cabin Fever" and "Hostel" are fucking awesome gore flix. Love that shit, don't know why. And who the shit doesn't love the STAR WARS movies...even the LORD OF THE RINGS (love the epics.) Great mob movies rule as well, "The Godfather," "Scarface," "Goodfellas" and "Pulp Fiction" just to name a few. Movies that make you want to do what the character in the film does..."TOP GUN" shit I wanted to fly those jets. I really loved "Garden State," and "Trainspotting."
I used to hate television, now well what can you do I love certain shows. "The Simpsons" which is the best television show ever written and probably also the greatest American satire ever produced. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," which was a fascinating example of how great characters and writing can make any theme well worth watching. "South Park," which gives the best comic relief by making fun of everyone who has ever lived. "The L Word," which again with great characters has a fascinating story and I have learned a lot about a culture I did not know about. "Weeds," which is a new show on Showtime and is absolutely great, funny and interesting with great characters. "Family Guy," usually makes me laugh so hard I am lucky not to piss myself. I also like the original "CSI" and "Law & Order." Recently I have become obsessed with "Grey's Anatomy," "HEROS," and "The Office," which Hayley and I love watching. Some classic TV that I love, "The A-Team," "China Beach," "Seinfeld," and I love "The X-Files." Not to mention "Happy Tree Friends" which is just about the best, funniest and most fucked up show I have ever seen. But I can't ever leave out "Morel Oral." This show is so funny, and I mean in your face funny. I sat up to Midnight (I know that isn't a big deal) the night it debuted and I have been hooked ever since. If you haven't seen this show watch it is so good...close to Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park good.
Ayn Rand's "Atlat Shrugged." D.H. Lawerence's "Lady Chatterly's Lover." Charles Dickens, "A Tale of Two Cities." Stephen King's "Dark Tower Series." Bret Easton Ellis "American Psycho." I also love the Harry Potter books. Who doesn't love a good story by Joyce Carol Oates? I love most of Jack Keroac, and the really gory Clive Barker books. I could ramble on about books for a long time listing books like, "Lord of the Flies," "Catch-22," "Brave New World," "Heart of Darkness," "The Man Who Loved Islands," "Jaws" and "Of Human Bondage." You absolutly have to read "Watership Down" by Richard Adams if you have not already. Stephen King is my no brainer guy, when I need a great book but don't necessarily want to contenplate the meaning of my existence. Some great non-fiction books I have read, "Salt," "Guns, Germs and Steel," "War Without Mercy" and "Backfire: The Complete History of the Vietnam War." That last one is not in print anymore but is considered by many profs. to be one of the best total accounts of the war start to finish and if you get your hands on a copy it is a facsinating read.
