About Me

Up and coming music producer and DJ based in Midwest USA (Dayton, OH). I tend to like anything that has a nice melody or a dirty, gritty bassline. Trance/"Electro-House"/Progressive/Breaks are a big part of my sets and productions.
If you are a club, DJ, or label affiliate and would like a copy of my latest demo CD, please message me or send me an e-mail at [email protected] and I will be certain to get it to you.
Please leave me feedback on my music; I always love to hear what other people think, be it critique or compliment.
I am 23 years old. I enjoy composing and producing music (obviously), photo/graphic editing, video editing, practicing DJ sets, driving my awesome Trans Am (or the wife's Mini Cooper S when she lets me...), posting on MotorSportConnect.com , going to to clubs (you can often find me at The Pearl on the weekends), video games, taking care of my 2 big ballin'-azz cats, drag racing, autocross, cruise-ins, and spending time with my beautiful wife.
David's productions and sets tend to combine the melodic and uplifting elements of Dutch-style trance with the dirty and gritty elements of some of the techier house and electro genres. and is heavily influenced by his 10 years of childhood musical training and piano lessons. In fact, you will often hear the piano used in his productions. His broad musical tastes often help him to borrow cues from varying musical styles to create his own unique sound. Having been raised in a musically-inclined family, with his parents participating in their own musical ventures such as church choir and major cantada solos, he was exposed to the wonders of melody and harmony at a very young age. His father, a saxophone player, has passed his art down to David's younger, high-school aged brother Stephen, who has also dabbled in producing and is currently involved in several music programs.
He is also a remix artist, having created his own versions of songs out of a broad scope of genres, such as his remix of Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle" or Nelly Furtado's "Maneater". David's love for producing aside, he also enjoys molding DJ sets out of a wide selection of genres working together to create a set which retains interest while still having a good flow. David also loves to produce and DJ hip-hop, work with rock bands, and do generally anything having to do with music!

Sounds Like: Progressive House and Trance, uplifting/melodic trance, breaks, occaisional dive into hip-hop, chillout/ambient, etc.

As for what I like to listen to, the answer is pretty much everything. I can find something from just about every genre I like. I'm not much of a country fan though. But to fit in with my previous comment, I do like "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". ;)

But if I had to make a list of what I listen to, it would go something like this (in no particular order): Hip-hop/rap, rock, metal, techno, trance, chillout, drum n' bass, breakbeat, progressive, house, european classical music, hardcore, emo, screamo, hardcore, indie, orchestral, electro, industrial, folk, pop, alternative/modern rock, and all the subgenres thereof.
