I’m a student at Seattle Pacific University where I am studying Special and Elementary Education. I hope to become a teacher within the next few years, specifically working with children who have disabilities. I am approaching the milestone age of twenty-one and I feel that I am just beginning to understand and figure out who I am. My views about life are constantly developing, and I’m learning and growing in ways I haven’t expected. I fail and make mistakes all the time, but I am trying to figure out what it means to stand rightly before God, all the while immersing myself in His grace. I love to laugh and be with people, but I also enjoy being quiet and having time alone. I have lived in the Northwest nearly my entire life and I love the outdoors, especially trees. There’s grand simplicity in nature. Being in God’s creation makes me feel small, and I like that. I find hope in knowing that a God who has made the majestic mountains and who understands me completely is in control. I like to dream, and everyday brings a new adventure…
