Leverage officially formed in the Fall 2005, although our history goes back nearly two decades. Jeff Mauck and Eric Prater have been playing together nearly 18 years. When they left from their previous band of 5 years, they asked Rich McLaughlin, who had also previously played with Jeff Mauck, to become a member. Through the bands original bass player Scott, Jeff Metz was asked to join shortly after Rich jumped on board. Steve Anleitner joined the band in Spring 2007, and the newest member of Leverage is Valencia Bogardus who took over lead vocals for us in July 2007
