I am here for Friends

About Me

You know what? My life rocks! I'm lucky as hell. It's been sort of an overwhelming year but without delving into that... things are turning up. I look forward to trying new things, meeting new people and becoming a better, stronger soul. I'm excited for what the future holds and I embrace the changes it has for me. :)
I was born and raised just outside Manhattan in Fairfield County, Connecticut, (an east coaster @ heart) I moved to Los Angeles when I was 21 and live in Marina del Rey. I've worked in television since high school and have worked on some really great shows. Letterman, Conan, SNL, Newsradio, Felicity, CSI, The Practice and Everybody Hates Chris to name a few.
Okay... staying in shape... That's a tough one because I've never really been the gym type, so the best thing to happen to me was my introduction to yoga. I love it. Without getting TOO dramtic, it's a really great thing and it's helped me through all walks of my life. I look forward to improving my practice and some day maybe teaching as well.
I joined myspace as a means of meeting new people, communicating with friends and hopefully reconnecting with some old ones as well. It's proven effective thus far.
Things I enjoy: Hmmm... anything music... playing drums or piano, racing cars out on the track... a nice dinner out... pretty much anything where I'm laughing with friends.
My love for the garden isle of Kaua'i is unparalleled. It's truly my favorite place in the world. Heaven on Earth, if you will. I plan on moving there at some point but until then, I go as often as I can. Poipu... I love you!
Keep it up everybody. I love you all!

My Interests

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY:
Long conversations with friends - listening to music on the floor late @ night - cuddling under a blanket watching movies on the couch - kissing all night long - the smell of wood burning fireplaces - pleasant dreams - tattoos with meaning - from Polihale to Na Pali, pretty much anything on the island of Kaua'i.

I'd like to meet:

Johnny Carson... Sadly, I think I'll have to wait until the next life for that one.

Music:

My tastes are pretty eclectic which defines me pretty well, I guess. I'm definitely more indie than mainstream so anything on KCRW.

Movies:

RECENT COMEDIES: Juno - Superbad - BORAT - Anchorman - Super Troopers
80'S FAVORITES: Ghostbusters - Back to the Future - Goonies
RANDOM FLICKS: Silver Streak - It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World - Donnie Darko - Wonder Boys - Garden State - Murder By Death - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
RANDOM STUFF: My Life - Crash - Big Fish - Life As a House

Television:

CURRENT: David Letterman - Family Guy - Entourage - Californication - Lost
RIP FAVORITES: Johnny Carson - Studio 60 - Six Feet Under - Arrested Development - Cheers - Seinfeld - The OC (guilty pleasure) ...here's a monkey wrench... remember Super Sloppy Double Dare? That was my favorite!!!

Books:

Stainless Steel Illusion (reading that now), Five People You Meet in Heaven, The Fabric of Self, Halfway Through the Tunnel. Anything NOT Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.

Heroes:

I don't know if I have any heros per se. There are definitely people I've met in my life with qualities I wish to emulate. My dad died when I was 18 and he was a great guy... so, he's number one.
