About Me

Hello Everyone,I thought I should provide you with a little history and information about my music. It seemed like the thing to do, I mean since MySpace dedicated a spot for that purpose. I have been playing guitar for over 10 years. I first picked up the guitar in 6th grade and like any beginner at guitar; my sound was nothing to be desired. But I loved guitar and music so I kept with it. I wrote my first song in 9th grade and since then I have written many songs. My music evolved greatly when I attended college in Pennsylvania. A friend of mine there taught me the components of good song writing. I took that advice to New York, when I started attending another school called Concordia College. To me, music is much more than lyrics and guitar. A successful song is one that, in an original manner, plays with peopleâ€™s emotions. My way of doing that is by writing a story with in the lyrics which has a beginning, middle, and an end. I try to use characters that the listener can relate to. Some would think I am a Christian artist, but I donâ€™t consider my songs to be that way. My songs may contain Christian implications but their overall message should be something everyone can understand. My songs contain part of my faith because that is a major part of my life as a song-writer.Saint Patrickâ€™s Cathedral was written on September 17th 2005 about an experience I had in New York City. I tried to romanticize the feeling of being in NYC, primarily Saint Patrickâ€™s Cathedral and Times Square. This song is about spending time with someone you care about. It is about being with some that you do not want to leave. The image it draws is that when you are with someone you love, the bright lights of the city are nothing but a background to a painting when all your attention is drawn on that one person.Well thatâ€™s all I am going to write right now.
