Music:

Very diverse musical appreciation from Rap to German Industrial to big band and swing. Favorite artists include, but are not limited to, Feist, T. Rex (I'm in love with Marc Bolan, so what if he's dead), Pulp, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs (if you haven't heard them you MUST! Can I please be Karen O in my next life?!!), Rashid Taha, Fifty Cent, Jay Z, Jedi Mind Tricks, Death Cab for Cutie, The Postal Service, Frou Frou, The Smiths, The Beautiful South, Morrissey, Robbie Williams (okay, my British husband may have had a slight influence here), Detroit Cobras (thank you, Kat, for introducing me!), Valient Thorr (my old roommate's boyfriend's band - they rock AND they're from Venus!)

Movies:

1.) Rushmore (totally fabulous - love it, love it, love it!), 2.) Inventing the Abbotts (a bit sappy, but set in my favorite era - the 1950's), 3.) Love Actually, 4.) Office Space, 5.) Bottle Rocket, 6.) Royal Tenenbaums, 7.) Death to Smoochie 8.) House of Yes (I know Tori Spelling is in this movie, but don't let that scare you away :) 9.) Freeway (one of Reese's first and best) 10.) Election and finally ... Anything with dark satyrical humor!

Television:

Okay, I'm updating this section because while I have been a faithful follower since the very first episode ... I must say that I've fallen off the bandwagon this season. I still love you, Tom Welling!!! Other TV shows I enjoy include: The Office (British 'original' version), Prison Break (two words - Wentworth Miller) and House with Hugh Laurie - he's excellent.

Books:

'Freakonomics' has been an enjoyable read lately - very very interesting! Also Jodi Picault writes very good books - 'Sister's Keeper' and 'The Pact' specifically. 'The E-Myth Revisited' by Michael Gerber is a fantastic book for anyone!. I'm also into the Classics - 'The Outsiders', 'Pride and Prejudice', anything by C.S. Lewis including 'The Screwtape Letters', 'Chronicles of Narnia' and 'Mere Christianity'. Oh, and I'm a complete magazine junky, I probably read 10 magazines a month!

Heroes:

Ummm ... my dog, Sushi? Oh yes, and Karen O. She is the queen of cool. Also, my mom for just being her quirky, crazy self with absolutely no, and I mean negative pretense if that's possible!
