I am participating in a 5k to fight breast cancer on October 28, 2006. Click here to Help find a cure I work in an elementary school.
I love to read and knit.
I also enjoy working-out and taekwondo class.
I can't deal with idiots, and I hate people not bothering to use turn signals when driving.

I like all types of music, as long as it is created by someone with talent and not a studio soundboard- that is too lame.

One of my favorites is State Fair... the 40s one, not the one from the 60s with Pat Boone.

Television:

I watch random things on TV... maybe What Not to Wear, maybe Law & Ordersometimes anime stuff... my mood determines it. My most recent favorite in the anime category is Shuffle!, put out by Navel and aired on WOWOW (and dvd) .

Books:

I just read For One More Day, by Mitch Albom.It is a moving story of finding your way back from the abyss.
I am now readingMy Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. It is a story about love and fear and what, if anything, is too much.
Up next is, hopefully, the next book in the Dragonlance series, which I am looking to buy since the library seems to have lost its copy and I still want to finish the series.

Heroes:

My mom. She was a great lady, and she certainly helped me to become who I am today. I love her dearly, and I always try to make her proud.
