1.Any fond memories you have that have nothing do to with touring or music
SHIT....NOT REALY..HA,HA.. MUSIC HAS BEEN MY LIFE FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS SO...UM...IF YOUR LOOKING FOR SOMETHING DEEP LIKE 'I FOUND GOD AT THE GRAND CANYON! IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL-I WEPT!' OR SOME THING YOU WON'T GET THAT FROM ME. WELL..OK..BEING OFF DRUGS FOR 8 YEARS.
2. What are some of the older and newer bands that have influenced your music and what is your all-time favourite bandMANIC STREET PREACHERS, THE CLASH, THE CULT, RANCID, AFI, MOTLEY CRUE, GUNS AND ROSES, THE RAMONES, DEADBOYS, LARS FREDRICKSON AND THE BASTARDS.
NEW BANDS? THE BRIEFS, TEST ICICLES, THE BRONX, SHE WANTS REVENGE.
FAVE OF ALL TIME? I GUESS THE CULT BECASUE SOME OF THEIR ALBUMS ARE GOTHY, SOME ARE JUST STRAIGHT UP ROCK. SO BY DEFAULT OF A SHORT ATTENTION SPAN-THE CULT.
3. If you could live in somebody elses shoes for 1 month who would it be and why? The person can be dead or aliveROGERS. BECASUE IF I HAD TO LIVE IN A SHOE, I WOULD WANT A LOT OF ROOM AND RAG'S HAS BIG FEET. I HAVE A LOT OF CD'S THAT I WOULD HAVE TO FIT IN THERE.
4. When did you realise that you wanted to be a musician?WHEN IRON MAIDEN PLAYED NUMBER OF THE BEAST AND SHOT OFF ALL THE PYRO AT ONE TIME! I WAS HIGH AS A KITE AND THAT BLEW MY MIND. SOLD!
5. How was your experience working on Roadrunner United with Joey for Tired and Lonely? Would you like to do something like this again or will you be working with Joey on any other projects in the future?FUN! REWARDING!IT WAS MY FIRST TIME IN THE STUDIO WITH JOEY BELIVE IT OR NOT-NO WAIT-WE DID SOME DUMB ASS BBC THING..BUT FIRST TIME WORKING ON NEW STUFF. ID LOVE TO WORK WITH JOEY ON STUFF AGAIN.
6. How does it feel to be the front man for a band instead of a lead guitar player?
THERE IS GOOD AND BAD. THE GOOD IS THAT YES-YOU GET MORE ATTENTION AS THE FRONT MAN AND I LOVE THAT...HA,HA..UM..BUT I FEEL LIKE I HAVE SOMETHING TO OFFER TO PEOPLE AND I CAN ONLY OFFER IT AS A FRONTMAN. WITH GUITAR-YOU CAN JUST KINDA LAY BACK AND BE COOL..LIKE STEVE! HA,HA.. YOU CAN JUMP AROUND ALL NIGHT AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT GETTING WINDED OR TIRED. WITH SINGING I'M ALWAYS FIGHTING FOR MY NEXT BREATH.
7. How often do you actually watch Nightmare Before Christmas?
AT THIS POINT-IVE BACKED OFF A BIT. NOW THAT I HAVE CORPSE BRIDE. THAT I HAVE WATCHED ABOUT A DOZEN OR SO TIMES SINCE I GOT HOME..HA,HA..
8. What has been the best moment with TLV so far?I HATE TO SAY IT BUT JUST WALKING INTO A HMV OR VIRGIN IN THE UK AND SEEING THE CD OUT OR IN TOKYO....THAT'S PRETTY DAMN COOL.
Thanks again for doing this and good luck with TLV in the future
NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL AND THANK YOU!
