10/15/07: Well the wait and anticipation is over! My daughter, Kyra Grace, was born on Monday October 15, 2007 at 11:06 PM. She was an absolute beauty from the moment she made her grand appearance. She weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and measured at 19 inches in length.The was a brief scare when the doctor came in a told us that the cord was wrapped around her neck. Everytime mommy had a contraction baby's heartbeart would significantly decrease. But since mommy was 9cm dialated when they came to that conclusion the doctor decided to wait it out. Of course, after nine comes ten and the pushing began. About 50 minutes later Kyra was born!10/17/07: At 2PM mommy and baby were granted an early release. Everyone is home and doing well. Kyra is actually getting some sleep since there are no nurses coming in poking and prodding a her. She's doing better with eating now. Still slightly inconsistent but getting better with every feeding. Everyone is great though!
