About Me

The Birthday Party
The Birthday Party was started in January 2004 as an excuse to get all of our friends together and listen to music we all liked - since then we've had parties in clubs, a boutique hotel, a pub, a barn complete with campsite and cows and 12,000 ft up a mountain.

So far we've had the pleasure of working with Peter Saville, Mark E.Smith, Tony Wilson, The Yes Men, James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem, Bob Dorough, The Lovers and Rob Bright - We've put on some of the most memorable parties and made some of the best friends you could get. We're going to do 18 of them and the next one we're doing is number 8.

We've just got back from Transalpine XS a music and ski thing in the French Alps where we took Optimo, Clint Boon, The Kleptones, Howard Marks, Martin Brew,It's Bigger Than and Tramp and 550 people for a week of parties in Europe's highest resort.

Go to our website at www.birthdaypartynight.co.uk and you can get the mixes we've done for the last couple of years and, make yerslef at home, take a look round. If you like what you see then give the Birthday Party Mobile Disco a call - like the A Team only better music. You want some?

We're off to the U.S. in November with The Kleptones so if you've got a club, a bar or an unruly prison you need sorting or, perhaps, just a leaky tap and a cup of tea give us a shout, we'll might well stop by.

Check out what we sound like by giving The Birthday Party Mobile Disco a call.

Prices start at 4 cans of room temperature Aldi own brand lager and a handful of cheese footballs, and due to our own BPMD means testing system everyone can afford us. From weddings on the beach for blokes who used to be in The Bill, through to Footballer's wives' birthdays (Steve Macmanaman's seeing as you're asking) and international drug smugglers (Howard Marks before you think we're too scary) nobody's too posh, chav or just plain law breaking for us - the only Djs who had to turn down a party for Wayne and Colleen in favour of a Jewish wedding (we're true to our word once booked, unfortunatley). So, what do you reckon about your Mandy's 21st?
