Born and raised in West-by-god-Virginia. Now teaching English on a remote island in Japan. How did I get here? I ask myself that same question everyday. I am the only white person in town. Everyone else on this island is either in grade school (my students) or retired. I have a lot of "Jennie time" here, and find myself worrying about what most people my age are worrying about: What the hell am I supposed to do now?!
