Mitchell joined his first band, The Crew, while a sophomore in high school as a horn player, then migrated to vocals. He later met up with Carol Martin and became the front man for the opening act for Carol. Mitch then joined Carols band, which later became Carol and Shabazz, as a self taught bass keyboardist and background vocalist. Mitch started his own band, Body & Soul, in the late 90s performing originals and covers. In early 2003, Mitch joined a Waterbury, CT based band called The Deans List as one of four vocalists. Later in 2003, he joined the Adrienne Nails Experience as a vocalist. In 2004, Mitch started his second band called Motif which was a cover band that had the opportunity to perform at non-profit functions and Vibz Uptown in Hartford, CT. In September of 2005, Mitch joined the band Serious Bizness. This experience has helped Mitch really enhance his abilities as a vocalist. Singing material from artists like Slave to Neyo, Mitch is able to display his wide vocal range. Mitch got a chance to share his vocal talent alonside his good friend and great vocalist Timmy Maia, also from CT. He also has been part of groups that opened up for the likes of Harold Melvin of Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Colonel Abrams, and Melissa Morgan. No longer a member of Serious Bizness, Mitch has decided to start a project of his own, and also get back to recording. We look forward to hearing his voice again.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
