About Me

I once had a professor say that if you hadn't thought deeply about your life, to the point where you questioned your very being, even questioned taking your life, then you haven't truly lived. Life is a gift, and I appreciate it every day, taking care to live it to the fullest. I love my friends and my family and I can't get enough of either. I am an extrovert to the fullest, and I would rather spend every waking moment with people than be by myself. I love music and the beach, the smell of rain and laughter. I'm pretty much the funniest person I know. I'm just about as optimistic as you can get, I try to find light in tragedy. I love when people hug me. I just finished my senior year at chico state (yay for the five year plan) and I graduated with two majors and a minor. I'd like to save the world, but have very little idea where to start. I work a lot with youth, especially high school students and college freshman. I have a job as a Child Care Professional at Hanna Boys Center and I love it! My life is busy. I wish I had more time to take naps.I've recently realized that most of the time, I stand like a little kid, with my back arched and my toes pointed in. Hmmmm....I'm pretty sure that I was supposed to be born on an island. Some days, all I want to do is pack my belongings and move to Hawaii. I'd live on the beach in a tent, surf all day and stargaze all night. Of course, live off avacados, coconuts and pineapples. I guess thats just the hippie in me....All in all, its a good life.
