Im Kathryn, I have been in Savannah a little over a year and without a doubt love it. I graduated radiology in 2004 and worked a little over 2 years as an x-ray tech and my two jobs became overwhelming and I slowly burned out and decided to take a leap and quit my jobs to move to Savannah and go to school for Radiation Therapy. I somehow talked a fellow coworker and now best friend into moving with me and going to school. My partner in crime, Erin and I sometimes have second thoughts of what in the world I was thinking when I thought Radiation Therapy would be a breeze but the things worked hard for will be very much appreciated in the future. I have left behind some of the best friends when moving to Savannah but alos have made some pretty amazing friends here and can't imagine having to leave them behind too when I graduate. I am blessed with two wonderful parents who I am having to depend upon for the first time in over 3 years. I wouldn't be able to be where I am or who I am without them. Who I am today is attributed to how I was raised, which I think was the only way to be raised :). I have two younger brothers, one who lives in Savannah and one who lives in Statesborro. Almost all of my family lives in Iowa but I have some in Florida and Utah. My friends get me through each day. Without them, I would never survive. Im am very blessed to have the few good friends I have and they keep my life upbeat and fun. I am at the point in my life that I have realized life is too short to be unhappy and that you should never settle for less. One of my worst fears is failure but then again who wants to be a failure. I work very hard to get what I want and hopefully one day will enjoy my success. I look forward to the weekends when I can head downtown and have a crazy night with my besties. I am shy but also outgoing at the same time, I am stubborn at times and tend to hold grudges. The littlest things can make me happy and the smallest things can hurt my feelings. I can get a little wild but in the end its all just a fun time. I love wine, shopping(even though I am so broke), movies, crafts, reading, camping and skiing whenever I can get to snow.
