About Me

Upon my journey for atonement... to find redemption for my past failures and to find euphoria in my success, I've come in a pinnacle moment of life. Before it's too late to say I wish i did this with my life, and too early to say this is what i've accomplished, a decision has to be made in the direction of my life. Do I chase after dreams of my own progressions? to be satisfied of what I can accomplish for myself? Or do I become transfixed upon what i can accmplish for others. But in essence.. if i find joy in helping others, in creating a better more fairer world for others, am I really doing it for my own self interest becaues I find joy in that? So then if everything I do is ultimately for myself, even selfless acts knowing it strikes my own ego knowing what I did, does the choice become money over prestige? Cause the goals I have for myself include prestige and is burdened with self promotion. Choices that i am burdened with. What I do know is that...I want to make a difference in society. Too many damn powerful industries dictate policies that widen the gap of social inequality. Global Warming is causing havoc on our weather and on the economy, yet the solutions to the problem repeadetly gets ignored. Unfair world trade creates an unequal world market, driving down prices, causing many nations to starve. 38 million Americans suffer from poverty yet American policy is centered in a losing battle in Iraq. Who will step up to the challenge and fight the corporate Goliath's?Millions of children worldwide suffer from lack of clean water and AIDS have become a hidden epidemic in Africa that is ignored in the Western World. Genocide is occuring in Darfur yet what do we do? History repeats itself as the World silently watched the Houlocast occur, we again silently watch the Darfur crisis. Yet we claim a country produces weapons of mass destruction as reason to go to war when the obvious true motivation was oil. People killin people dyin, people starving, people thirsty, yet the world is all good if we have our big cars and our big homes and our big diamonds... however this only exacerbates the problem. What will you do?
