I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I graduated from Slippery Rock University in December 2004 with my BA in history, minor in American History. I currently serve in a living history regiment, Company A of the Ninth Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry reserves "The Pittsburgh Rifles" with whom I have served since 1996.I am about to go back to school to earn my MA from the University of Pittsburgh: MA in History in Education.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

As for the people I am interested in meeting--the principle requirements are a must: 1. An enjoyment and appreciation for life; 2. desire to travel to new locations; and 3. Intelligence. As for how any of them are measured, well, I tend not to be too judgemental about any of it. People and situations are to be treasured as the unique moments they are, as life is way too short not to appreciate them. Whether it's mardi gras, carnival, fantasy fest; or just a walk in the park take each moment as it comes and enjoy the ride.

If you like good cooking, good conversations and what ever else may arise--drop me a line.

Trouble in the state of the world.

Today's subject is going to be a two- or three-pronged subject that I find to be particularly distressing; not to mention offensive and distasteful.  In local news, an 11 year boy is suspected of shoo...

Money, Money everywhere and not a dime to be had

The Tarp is big news, and at $700 billion it is probably the next largest thing short of China's Gross Domestic Product.  I've been thinking about the money, and while complaints have been made about ...

A review...

Well, November 4th came and went, as did the elections on November 7th.  I'm glad that the republicans had their little applecart upset, now to see what the aftermath will be like. Oysterfest at ...
