JR Bell is smooth, sophisticated, soulful and taking the music industry by storm. JR is an R&B sensation who began singing at the tender age of 5 and music has remained his passion throughout his life. After leaving Kent State University in Ohio, moving to L.A. to pursue music on a professional level JR has had the opportunity of working with a virtual whos who in the music industry. From Gene Peoples,Hiram Hicks, Eric Dawkins, and Gerald Levert to Mario Winans and Sean Diddy Combs, JR has worked with many seasoned producers, writers, and vocalists. Before striking out on his own, JR was a member of the male singing group Dark Blu who had the amazing opportunity of performing on living legend Don Cornelius Soul Train. Also signing his 1st major deal with Capitol Records. JRs chic croning style is largely influenced by old school legends such as Al Green, Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke and also new school favorites like Brian McKnight and Jamie Foxx.
