I can hardly sit still. I usually bike at least once a week and run every day (with my new Nike + Ipod!). I don't know where I'm going, but I do know that I want to get there fast. Bonus points if you can cite the 80's pop allusion there. I've recently become Scuba certified and enjoy diving immensely. I'm also a huge fan of movies and try to hit up the theaters at least once a week. Finally, I love to travel. My friends make fun of the fact that I'm addicted to Frommer's guides and use them for everywhere I visit. I'm not as bad as a Japanese tourist, but I'm close.
I'd like to meet someone who likes to hike and run, watch movies and travel for starters. After that, I'm fairly flexible. I've also taken up scuba diving recently and a dive partner would be awesome. Below you can see some of the places I've been. I hope to see many more!Get Your Own! | View Slideshow
I like most everything except heavy metal. I'm not an expert on underground music and that doesn't really bother me. Some of the artists I like are Kanye West, All-American Rejects, the Fugees, Plain White T's, Eminem, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Avril Lavigne, No Doubt, Green Day, Jack Johnson, Linkin Park and Mos Def.
I'm a huge movie fan. I'm particularly fond of adventures, comedies and Sci-Fi. Here's a lists of some favorites of mine: Aliens, the Indiana Jones Triology, Gladiator, Batman Begins, Princess Mononoke, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Nausicaa Valley of the Winds, the 40 Year Old Virgin, and Toy Story.
I'm a fan of Fox TV shows, probably because when I was a kid that was the only channel I could get clearly in my room. I'm a recent convert to the technological marvel that is DVR and record all sorts of stuff. Currently I'm addicted to Lost and NFL Broncos Football. Other favorite TV shows are The Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, The Office, My Name is Earl, 24, CSI and Seinfeld.
I used to be a huge reader but have slowed down since graduating from college. I try to read an educational book every few months (Fast Food Nation, the Pentagon's New Map). Some good fiction I've enjoyed recently include: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami (a genius!),the Harry Potter Series, a Song of Ice and Fire, Hyperion/Endymion and the Da Vinci Code.
