About Me

Through the years my path has taken me across several states and many miles as a performer. I began writing songs in the late 70's in Atlanta, Ga. and formed or fronted bands performing my original compositions, among others. This culminated in appearances in the Atlanta Songwriters Competition in 1988 and 1989, where I received and honorable mention, and the next year a 3rd place finish. The struggling musician lifestyle has meant that I have always had a "day" job, but whenever I am asked what I do, musician is the first thing out of my mouth and remains my one true passion. The dream has never died and I still give my music as much time as I can, but as John Lennon so succinctly put it......" Life happens while you are busy making plans" and that has been true for me, as I am now a single parent, which means I have another passion......raising my child. I am thankful for every moment I have spent performing and look forward to many more. I am also grateful to have met so many terrific people along the way and anticipate more of the same!
