About Me

Hm... Despite my age, I'm still a bit idealistic. Sure, I may be a wee bit jaded and cynical at times, but I'd like to think we can all look out for each other. That being said, I have to admit that sometimes, I get cranky. Sometimes, I get really, really, really annoyed with people. I can be prickly and a little difficult to get to know. OK, I'm a grumpy liberal. There, I've said it. I'm a quiet person, generally. If I know you, it's different. Of course, my saying things I've said here... where people I don't know can read them... Ok, I'll admit that's a little strange but there is a certain freedom in the anonymity, n'est-ce pas? The only places I feel completely at ease and in control are at the theatre and in the kitchen. I love to entertain. I don't know enough to go to bed at a reasonable hour. I'm pretty much exhausted most of the time. I am absolutely not a morning person. I have a tendency to worry about things I don't need to worry about and not worry about things that I do need to worry about. I have an irrational fear of sharks. I'm a total lightweight when it comes to alco-ma-hol. The most I've ever had in a night is four Stoli-razz-and-soda-with-lime. I remember everything that happened that night and my boyfriend is still my boyfriend in spite of it. Hell, one more drink that night and he might have become my boyfriend sooner!
