God the Holy Ghost calls for crusaders… How many ministers would be in church if it were not their

About Me

I am just a schmo who longs for deep connections (and vintage VWs) and deep thoughts. I long for real people and real situations where God is present. I don't long for the BIG SHOW on Sunday mornings. Let's be real..genuine...and flawed. That is really what we are anyways, and it's no secret. The only one who may not know is you. Jesus knew what He got when He bought you. So rely on Him to fix you. Just follow Him with all that you are and He will take care of the rest. Trust me! I have been there, and He has...------------------------------------------------------ ----- ...I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? THEN I SAID, HERE AM I SEND ME. Isaiah 6:8 ----------------------------------------------------------- This is my favorite passage in the Bible. It has inspired my entire Christian walk. I am in love with God, and want you to know it. My desire is to be known by the One I follow. Elijah was known as the man of God more than he was by his name. I want to be like that. I don't want to be a "Christianized" poser. I want to be the real, laying down my life to follow Him, hand raising, mercy giving, others serving, Christ centered,Bible carrying, gospel spreading, infectious, and totally genuine article follower of Jesus Christ!--------------------------------------------------- I don't want to go through the empty motions of "institutional Christianity". I don't think God really cares a whole lot about our traditions. We think some are sacred and maybe even holy, but they come from men, not God. I think God is more personal than many of the people who claim to represent Him. I am not preaching anything new, I just want to go deeper with Jesus, and I am willing to lay all of the other stuff down so I can. I guess that is where I am at in life right now. It's not easy, but it is freeing.
