Tennis, tennis, tennis. Reading. Crossword puzzles. Tennis. Writing (pretty pretentiously awful) poetry (Hey, at least I can admit it...). Listening to music. Movies. Tennis. My friends. Bowling. Mini golf (What a trip-I'm terrible). Tennis. Friends. Hanging out. Good clean (mostly) fun.
uh... people. Humans. Bipeds. Homo sapiens. Les garçons et les filles. But only the former for relationship-py stuffs. I think it goes without saying that if relationship-py cannot be a "word" for you then it probably isn't going to do you any good to talk to me. 'Cause I'm full of words that "function" as multiple parts of speech. Haha. I love it.
I have recently pinpointed my musical niche, and it really ends up being mostly defined as folk(y), sometimes with added rock: Ben Folds, Simon and Garfunkel, Josh Ritter, Tegan and Sara, Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Merchant, Jason Mraz. You'll notice also that all the aforementioned artists are also songwriters. Coincidence? Not hardly.
My Top 10 favorite songs of all time by 10 different artists (in no order):
1. "The Only Living Boy in New York"- Simon and Garfunkel
2. "Waterloo"- ABBA
3. "The Luckiest"- Ben Folds
4. "Because the Night"- 10,000 Maniacs
5. "Monster Ballads"- Josh Ritter
6. "Where Does the Good Go?"- Tegan and Sara
7. "Tiger"- Paula Cole
8. "I Know You're Out There Somewhere"- The Moody Blues
9. "Hear You Me"- Jimmy Eat World
10. "Paperback Writer"- The Beatles
Is it ANY wonder I love this man?...
