Hey! My name is Dave Harriman and I was born and raised on the west coast of the US. I now live in Madrid, Spain and I..m an English teacher at businesses and private lessons. I..m moving back to America in July to finish my bachelor's degree in Anthropology, so that I can continually research this human species which is so absorbing yet confusing. I am 100% opposed to the war, and I believe that freedom should never cost an innocent life. I believe that in order to prevent war we should first educate ourselves and be trained to think critically and use our minds, instead of automatically believing everything we are told by our leaders. For this reason I feel strongly about focusing on global literacy, education, and health. I am against nationalism in any country, since history has plainly proven to us it's poisonous capability. I will never hold or wave a flag bound to any country. I am not proud to be from any country. I am proud to be human, a member of this planet, and a truth-seeker. I am anti-racist, and I recognize it is a terrible disease that unfortunately exists nearly everywhere on this planet, and that it is a direct result of misunderstanding, lack of cross-cultural communication, and poor education. I love many things in life, and I hold absolutely no regrets. So far I have some of the best memories I could possibly ask for, and I definitely look forward to what tomorrow will bring. I love my best friends and would do anything for them any day of the year, as I know they would do the same for me. I also really love rock music.
