MyGen Profile Generator Jay Simpson, singer and songwriter, born and raised in Redmond, Oregon he began playing music at a very young age and comes from a very musical family. He lived in Nashville for two and a half years where he learned alot of things about the music business and met many skilled musicians and that's when his songwriting really became fine tuned. He writes mostly of personal experience which is why he is able to touch so many people through his music. He has been compared with artists such as Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Keith Whitley and many other great artist that have also been huge musical influences in his singing and writing styles. Jay now resides in Central California with his wife and daughter and is available for any upcoming events.He is now currently playing with the Whirlwind Band based in Ceres, CA and he can be seen performing almost every weekend at clubs in the central California area.
