About Me

Everybody has some kind of pipe dream that we must achieve to some degree. Mine is making right nice guitars and getting them to the people that need something different.I am trying to use more local woods, in a style that is rather old world, laying off the power tools when I can, but hey, sometimes I gotta makes some noise.these guitars are full hollow body acoustic archtops, most commonly known as jazz guitars, but not limited to the style by any means, it really depends on the set up, think bluegrass, think, surf rock, think sweet mellow jazz, think whatever your little hands can muster.I am willing to work with potential customers to create a guitar that is suited specifically to them. Need a pickup, no problem, I am trying to get these out the door with, a pickup, a case, and set up real sweet for $1000 to no more than $1400, and that would have to be really fancy stuff. I am willing to work with peoples budget, because what good is an instrument hanging on some wall all the time looking pretty?, I have some instruments that I am willing to loan out to the right person if they need some time to think over the archtop style, because it is definitely not a flat top acoustic. hope to hear from you soon.Vance Bergeson, Elgin Guitars.
