When the earth is ravaged and the animals are dying, a new tribe of people will come unto the earth from many colors, classes, creeds and who by their actions and deeds shall make the earth green again. They will be known as the warriors of the Rainbow --Old native American prophecyI dig music, life, love and creating stuff from food to clothes to music to art. I used to live for Phish tour and festivals, making clothes and selling em on the road, now I stick to local stores, the internet and the occasional fest. Someday I'll run a larger scale clothing company, and only utilise eco-friendly materials like hemp, organic cottons, coconut husk, dandelion etc. Right now I use organics and other textiles- theres not enough of a market where i'm at to use only organics & hemp which is unfortunate considering the damage cottons do on social, economical and ecological levels. I live in a small mountain town in between the Columbia and Rocky mountains- Golden, BC. I hate that i have to travel so fing far for music, not that i'm much worse off here in that sence than i was in Northern Ontario I moved here for snowboarding & thought it was for just one winter and that was 3 years ago, Kicking Horse is an undiscovered gem, its only 5 years old so its not played out yet & its never busy, you can get fresh lines a week after a big dump of snow and it hasn't become to resortish (yet) I don't really work... i sew, play with the dawgs and tend to the garden until the season starts back up.
