Biography
DJ WM was brought up in Buckinghamshire just outside of West London, UK.
Music became a vital part of his life from a very early age.
WM first started what he thought was mixing with his first Karaoke machine at the age of 6, he began recording himself presenting and 'mixing' onto tape.
At the age of 10 his dad bought his first proper set of decks - Numark CD Mix 1 Console, very basic but still taught WM the basic skills. Eventually bookings came in fast and WM was in popular demand, his age was definatly not a put off as people could see the talent WM had to offer. Mobile eventually became a bit of a bore, playing for audiences that he really didn't want to play for, as his Hip Hop and RnB taste buds got bigger WM was searching for different audiences.
In April of 2006 WM started his first radio show on the new Internet Station Fierce FM with thanks from DJ Shock. This show was a smash and only the start for WM. He then moved to Manic FM in the summer of 06 (The biggest internet station in the UK with the likes of the N.A.S.T.Y Crew and Roll Deep having weekly slots) and other stations such as Rampage Radio and his own station Street FM which closed in early 07.
WM is now back on Rampage Radio every Saturday 6-8pm playing Hip Hop and RnB. In the summer of 07 he released 'The Definition of Hip Hop Volume 1' which helped promote underground artists. Later on in the year he began a new self promotion mixtape series called 'This Is How We Do'. WM has gone up and up, his mixing style has been compared to that of KISS FMs DJ Swerve (WMs inspiration from the start).
