I am a full-time skydiver based out of Skydive Arizona. I have been skydiving for over 10 years and have made over 8,000 jumps. I often travel to drop zones around the world as a freefly coach and load organizer. I was part of the Batavia Boogie last summer and will join you again this summer.Being a part of the evolution of skydiving is highly motivating to me, and is one of the reasons I love to organize and participate in freefly world records. I have been part of three freefly world records, and I organized and participated in the two women’s vertical world records.Competition is also a huge motivating factor for me. I find that the pressure of competition pushes me to fly my absolute best. I have participated in five U.S. Nationals and hold two Freestyle championships. Throughout the season at Skydive Arizona, I organize several different kinds of competitions. I am currently training with a Vertical Formation Skydiving team. We are gearing up for the 2006 U.S. Nationals.Freefly coaching is my full-time job. This job did not come natural for me. I had to work very hard at understanding all types of people—how they learn, how they deal with fear, and how they deal with confidence. I love watching people learn how to freefly and feel very lucky to have the opportunity to help them grow in the sport.I am really looking forward to the Batavia Boogie. It is such a special time and place. During the Boogie I will be available to jump with anyone interested. I will be organizing all kinds of Freefly skydives. I love to talk about skydiving, so please feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
