Since forming in Aarhus, Denmark at the end of the last millennium, the four guys collectively known as The Invidian have created a style of metal unlike anything in the current metal scene. Drawing from inspirations as different as stoner-rock, techno and death metal and fuelled by an intense desire to make home-grown, no-compromise metal music, the band and its newly recorded demo EP is destined to find its way to listeners worldwide through mass underground exposure.
Though never a preachy political band, the band gains inspiration from the surrounding world and the personal frustrations that stems from living in today’s consumer culture where integrity and originality are substituted with imitations and the hunt for the almighty buck. The four members of The Invidian are all experienced musicians who know how to convey a message through music, be it positive or not, and experiencing the band live verifies this statement, as the four members proudly play to the audience and not the stage floor…
