Biz began rappin' at the age of 16 with his brother and fellow Cadillac Clique member, KSwade. Prior to the Cadillac Clique, Biz and Swade freestyled against eachother until they began to take their rap more serious and released their demo album entitled "Peer Pressure". While this album did not do as well as they expected, they continued to write and looked for a third member, Ill-T. Together Biz, Swade, and Ill-T formed DC-5,
DC-5 released their debut album entitled "Best Kept Secret". This album was the first to promote both Swade and Biz, and they began performing live at such places as VooDoo Nightclub. This album was also when Kryptic, soon to be Cadillac Clique member, was introduced as he featured on a song on the album.
While DC-5 began getting publicity, there was confrontation within the group. After Ill-T wrote a diss track about Biz and Swade, DC-5 decided to drop Ill-T and form the Cadillac Clique (Biz, Swade, Kryptic).
While Kryptic only was featured on a few tracks, the Cadillac Clique released their first album entitled "Popped Collaz". Although this album wasn't the Clique's finest, the publicity they received from this album would benefit them with their next release.
The last album the Cadillac Clique released as a group, and was the most successful was "Get the Money and Run"(2005). This album had a track list of 21 songs, and featured down south rapper Blizm. This CD was the most wellknown and performed at VooDoo Nighclub, MX, as well as opened for Halifax rapper Classified. Their single "The Caddy Clique", was released and played in Oxygen Nightclub. With tracks including "Im So Coo", "Street Legends", and "Dip Dat Booty", this album sold as many as 2000 copies across the maritimes.
The Cadillac Clique decided that while their popularity was at its peak, each member released a solo album. Biz' album "Maccin' On Your Matress"(Summer 2006), featuring artists such as "The Ghost" from Oakland, "Leph T" from Virginia, "Petroleum" from Denmark, "Tywill" from Biz'd Face Records, and Krypic and Swade from the Cadillac Clique, was the last album to date that has been recorded although the newest album from the Cadillac Clique is in the making.
The Cadillac Clique reached its highest point in Moncton and Biz and Swade decided to leave fellow Caddy Clique member behind to promote their rap across the country.
Now in Calgary, Alberta, Swade and Biz are recording their newest album "Talk of the Town", as well as performing across the city at places such as the Point on 17th. Their new album is expected to be hitting the streets late November 2006. The album contains a 17 song track list, featuring artists such as: Chainreaction, Leph T, Malize, Ms.Fe & Cash Flow. Kryptic will also be featured on the single "The Clique is Back".
