(North Laine) A Music Producer / Video Producer / Photographer / Rap Mc / Singer / and also play 2 instruments, the keyboard and guitar. I create my music on a windows 64bit pc based platform running Steinberg Nuendo 3 sx as my sequencer and Steinberg wavelab 5 as my sampler and mastering Program. I use a variety of plugins with my midi instruments and often record live instruments e.g. Electric guitar / Bass guitar, recorded through a line6 pod interface. Acoustic guitar recorded through the usage of a condenser mic. All jack inputs are recorded through direct mixer line in and all Xlr inputs e.g. . . . Vocals / Acoustic instruments are all recorded through the Behringer Amp MiniMic 800 and all vocals are recorded in my customised garden shed what is padded out in egg boxes which gives me a nice flat sound.I design and edit my all my photography using Adobe Photoshop CS2 that includes my music album artwork and web page designs. My photography interests include: Urban artwork / Country and Urban Landscapes / Buildings / Abstract.I produce and edit my video frottage using Sony Vegas 7 that includes: Music videos / Documenters. Filming is not one my strongest interests so I don’t have much to tell u about this on off hobby.. To describe me musically I guess u could say I promote the more relaxed and melodic side of music with deep / political and sometimes emotional lyrics, with most of my lyrics being performed through the art of rap / spoken word or sung. most of the music I make is hip hop but I wouldn’t say that all my music comes under the hip hop genre just because it has a 4x4 beat and sits between a certain tempo doesn’t mean its hip hop, But I admit that most if not all of my drum loops are hip hop based and most sit between the 90-110 bpm mark, but of the melodies are not what I class’s as hip hop. I would say my melody style ranges from classical / Indy / pop / rock / hip hop / well anything which makes my unique style.I don’t really feel all that grime and gangster hip hop so if your of those wannabe thug/gangster twats whatever DON'T ADD ME!!!I’m not fussed about fitting in to the local sheep herd (the Brighton hip hop scene) I never really did fit in at all the clubs and stuff so I got my own thing going I have my own studio all the bits and pieces I need and im very good with the music program I use Nuendo/Cubase 3 (The best) and I do the whole lot my self (Well some times will a little help from my friends?)
