About Me

I am 20, and my desire for my life is to do as much mission work as possible, near or far. I am just as happy serving people in the States as I am overseas (although overseas they often have better food). I know that God has romance and adventure for my life. Not necessarily the romance of a guy (I haven't figured out if marriage will be a part of my life yet), but being romanced by God which is far better than a guy. I want to do everything that I can to step into the adventure he has for me. I do not want to wait on the sidelines and hope a little comes my way. I want to take life on. I love my small group SHOCK (Surrendering Hearts On Committed Knees). They are some of the most amazing girls that I have ever met. And KREW (The guys small group) are some of the most amazing guys I have ever met. Both of those small groups make me want to be more in love with God than I am. I am quite into horses. I was able to live almost every little girl's dream and get my first pony when I was 9. I still have her and have owned 3 other horses and now also have 2 mini donkeys. I volunteer at Pegasus Special Riders, which is riding for the handicapped. I started out working only with the horses (who I still love to work with), but I am finding out that it is quite rewarding to work with the riders also. My family has an assortment of animals. The horses, mini horses, a psychotic rooster, cats, dogs, a llama, a deer, goats, fish, a parakeet...I think that's it, although we have had random other animals. I enjoy doing crafts, especially lampwork beads since I get to work with a torch and molten glass :~). I also like basketry and needlework. This may seem really random, but I like hammocks a lot. I slept in one in Brazil, and they are incredible.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The riders and horses from the Spanish Riding school in Vienna, and anyone God wants me to be friends with. People whose lives will impact me, and whose lives can be impacted by me. Those I will never get to see because their parents decided they weren't worth it.
