I'm into Hip Hop culture, dancing, music, the life! I am a street dancer and locker. I run a dance school called Studio Dance. Selected dancers form SDCrew who perform and battle across the world. I am part of Flava Squad, a worldwide Hip-Hop movement with b-boys, b-girls, Lockers, Poppers and DJs. I also teach hip-hop dance at the University of Sheffield.
Here's a little info on things I've done:
In 2007 I choreographed a pices titled 'A Taste of Real Hip-Hop' for the Breakin' Convention Tour at Sheffield City Hall.
In March me and and my lockin' partner Savvi-D won the Lockin' duos at the UK Hip-Hop Championships 2008 and went to represent the UK in the World Hip-Hop Champs in Las Vegas in August!
On 27th April 2008 we performed a piece I choreographed for SDCrew at London Palladium, called 'Not Old Skool, Not Nu Skool, REAL Skool'.
In June SDCrew won the Hip-Hop Dance Grand Prix in Italy!
In August my Junior crew went to Las Vegas as they qualified to rep the UK in the World Hip-Hop Championships, and Savvi-D and I repped for the UK in the World Lockin battle! We had a wicked time and learnt loads.
In April 2009 SD Crew wnter the European Dance Award in Barcelona, and we came 1st out of 218 routines from crews across the world, and I won a special award for best choreography! We also performed this at Breakin Convention Tour, Nottingham, 2009.
