In 1999 he created his own label together with friend and production partner Sefty called Soul Camp Recordings. After several releases and remixes for artists like Reel People, Terry Callier, Lenny Fontana, Phonique, Robert Owens etc., and living in Berlin for many years, he decided to move to London after a one year stay in Mallorca (Spain) where he had Dj residencies at Pacha, Garito Café and Tito’s.
In London arrived, Werner started to work at the infamous Flying Records Shop, joined the production outfit Notenshun and became inhouse engineer for Chillifunk Records. As Notenshun, together with Lofty, they released to albums called ‘Traffic’ and ‘Unfinished Business’ and several releases in cooperation with Sandy Mill, Ultra Nate, Ann Saunderson, Marcus Begg and did remixes for Ultra Nate, Nathan Haines, M-Swift, Diplomats Of Soul & Spirit Catcher.
In 2004 he started a new label together with Lofty and Sefty in London, called Audio Culture Recordings, to create a new platform for deep, electronic and Detroit influenced house music.
Currently he is involved in several production outfits and studio engineer for Audio Nature (with DJ Sefty), JC Freaks (with Anthea from Phonica), Miss Jools (Mobilee), Motion City (with Gordon from Blackbeard) to name but a few. New releases and remixes on labels like Mojuba (Wandering), Mina, Mobilee, Moodmusic, Catwash and Audio Culture are on the way…
