Crash Mahoney, aka charlie

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I skate onto the track. My blades skim across the ice with grace and finesse. I pulled the lowest number for my heat, so I will have the inside lane. I skate to a few feet behind the start line and wait. "Skaters to the line," the starter says. I move forward to the line and dig the toe of my left skate into the ice and get my back skate set. I take a deep breath and try to relax. "Set." I get down into my crouch, tensed up like an arrow drawn back to be fired. The next few seconds are agonizing. *BANG* The gun goes off, and so do I. I'm many things. Currently, I work as a blade technician at DimonSports Speed Skates and Accessories in Lake Placid, NY. I used to go to a lot of protests as a street medic, but I haven't had time in the last year or so due to school and work (and that ever so pesky training for the Olympics thing). My favorite thing to do, though, is speed skate. It consumes my mind during pretty much every waking hour. I do short track speedskating with the Garden State Speedskating club on Monday nights. I also play a plethora of instruments, including the trumpet, banjo, electric bass, didgeridoo, chanter, penny whistle, fife, and crystal flute (plus many more but i'm not so good with those yet). If you want to chat or be friends, drop me a line, but don't just be one of those people who adds people to get like 10000 friends. Speed skaters, pirates, nurses, libertarians (of the left wing persuasion) and ninjas welcome. Racists and bigots need not apply.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

SPEED SKATERS!!! Other in the medical field, pirates, ninjas, pirinjas, explorers, and serial killers
