I feel that my art reflects the world around us in an honest but playful way. I make these events like Global warming, the war on terror and the raising of inflation by using graffiti inspired images with a comical over look on them. These events have inspired me because of the coverage in the newspapers and on the TV. I use these topic’s because I hear about them every day of my life and they end up in my thought process which in turn I have to use to make my art work for me not only as an artist but as a human. The use of screen-printing my work is a deliberate choice; this came about because I wanted to replicate how we are given this information and how it is handed down from the press to the general public to read and react too.
