I rarely watch TV. When I do, I prefer cartoons, documentaries, old movies, talk-shows (depending on the debated topic and the participants) or "Gilmore Girls"
Old books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, manuals, children’s books, art books, I.L.Caragiale, J. Steinbeck, Ch. Dickens, M. Eliade, Ch. Baudelaire, H. Ibsen etc – I read anything that doesn’t bore me.
The fight with hardships, stereotypes and prejudices makes my heroes. I admire some famous successful people, but my notion of heroism resides in existences on the edge of survival, in the people who, despite having merely nothing, still find resources to give, to resist, to overcome - incurably ill people who encourage their healthy loved ones, large families living on $100 monthly wages, homeless old people who share their bread with a pet, and so on.
