Fuck Subtle recordings is a small norwegian label. We release electronic music, mostly in small numbers. Since we are no millionaires, we try to get the music out without ruining ourselves. This is why we concentrate on CD-R releases. Then again, this means that you can get good music really cheap.Short history: After the nice start with the ultra lo-fi CD-R tunes of Line and his 'EPw/3' (fkscd001), FSR invited Dadaistisk Danseénsemble and Roner & Tesen to make the next two cdr's on the label. The Roner & Tesen release (fkscd002) never actually got out, but Roner (now Nes) is still on the label. Dadaistisk Danseénsemble, the fucking greatest norwegian poem-project alive, did only burn 15 CD-R's named 'Vox in Clemantis' (fkscd003), gave them away and began picking songs for their massive MD-release, Skole (fksmd001). HOH did his entrance in 2002 with the 'I wanna be a rhythm' album (fkscd004). An album that really consolidated FSR as a label to count with. After 2003, a year of utter silence, 2004 took us to new heights, with Nes releasing his smashing EP 'I'd Like to Sing to You' (fkscd005). Then in 2005 Gtuk teamed up with us, and in february 2006 his album 'Herzschlag' (fkscd006) was ready to conquer the world, accompanied by the vicious and soon-to-be-legendary FSR-tour 'Bad English Tour 2006' (fkscd007). Talking O-seven, Gtuk has released his Wir Sind Glücklich (fkscd008) album on FSR, Stenze Quo and Fiese Asseln.Ears do not decode, they listen! And asses do not see,they dance, baby!
