Siren Junkies is an Auckland based 4 piece band playing their own original rock/pop music style, and was formed in February 2004. Their music has been described as melodic, dynamic and edgy and they have played with some of New Zealand’s big acts, such as Goodshirt, Goldenhorse, Anika Moa, Breaks Co-Op and The Rabble.
The band is regularly seeking opportunities to perform at international festivals and events, while maintaining a strong focus on the local market by receiving radio and television coverage for their singles and music videos, supported by regular local performances.
Siren Junkies was selected to play at NXNE, which is Canada’s largest and most prestigious music festival in Toronto in June 2006. It was the only New Zealand act playing at this festival. It's this combination of look and attitude that could take them a waysâ€.
