Rest In Peace Alexis Rivera 4-3-66 ~ 4-7-08
I have a long bio that seems to go nowhere. The point being is I'm always on the outside looking in. I grew up in the Bronx New York in the Forest Houses Projects right on 163rd Street in the early 70's till late 80's. My building was interesting to say the least, my two best buddies Frankie and Choco lived on the 10th and 9th floors, my main man Alexis stepped on the scene when I was around 10 and we became friends shortly after; his family was on the 6th floor around the corner from another homeboy Frank. We were all the same age all having older brothers and sisters except for Al, who was the oldest of four boys. I have to admit that I lost ties with my "brothers" over the years, yet I could easily track each and every one of them down with no problem. As I turn 40 this summer I can't help but to remember the fun times we had in 765 E. 163rd and the neighborhood which had it's own sense of style and color....
