About Me

In the 70s the club that put on Ice Racing in Alaska was called Motor Mushers. There was anywhere from 200 to 400 competitors signed up per race. Around in the 1990's the amount of competitors slowly started to fade. 2003 the motor mushers stop holding ice racers due to not enough competitors. 2006 Ice Racing Alaska became Established we started out with 7 sleds and about 10 entry fees. In 2007 the biggest turnout was 17 sleds and 19 entry fees. In 2008 we expect to see consistently 20 sleds and hope for are best Weeknd to be 35 sleds.
